How Long Does Seritonin Syndrome Take To Get Cured?

I am being treated for RA and was given Etodolac 600ER twice a day, Placqunil 200 twice a day, Cymbalta 60mg once a day and Tramadol 50mg 1 to2 tabs every four hours. I was reluctant to take the Tramadol. I was just diagnosed with Seritonin Syndrome. How long will it take to get back to normal? It has been a week. I am now on Tylenol 1000 mg three times a day,a 2.5 mg Ativan up to three times a day as needed and Pepto for diarrhea and vomiting. The hot then cold symptoms are awful. The ear noise is real bad

hi thanks for posting on hcm
serotonin syndrome is due to drug interactions of 2 drugs or the side effects of the drugs
we can't exactly say the timing but the symptoms subside once the medications taken are washed out of the body, it depends on the dosage you used to take
i would suggest to consult the doctor who prescribed the medication if your symptoms are severe and affecting your day to day activities.
hope this helped you
regards
