I am Dr Madhuri a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist and will be helping you with your queries. The symptoms that you are experiencing are not uncommon. SOme women feel depressed after labor and delivery and this is called post partum blues that tend to get corrected mostly in a month or so. In some this may persist and becomes similar to a depressive disorder. This needs evaluation and treatment with drugs. So just do not worry. See your doctor and also a psychiatrist who will help you out of this. This is very common and can be very easily treated with medicines.
Hope this satisfies your query. Thanks for using HCM. Feel free to ask any more questions that you may have. Dr Madhuri Bagde Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist
