How Long Is Normal Ejaculation Time?
good afternoon Dr,
i have no erection deficiency but ejaculation occur with in 15 to 20 secs after penetration. normally, how long will it take?. i am 45 years old, height 167 cm and 66 kg weight. but it is from the day of marriage(12 years before). i thought normally it will take 30 to 40 secs and due to stress and tiredness it becomes early. but through search internet i understand that normally it will occur at 5 minutes and not less that 2 to 3 minutes, please clarify.

the ejaculation time is also known as intravaginal ejaculation latency time..
the time between the penetration and ejaculation varies from men to men and even for the same person at different time..the length of sexual intercourse depends upon mutual satisfaction of both the partners..
by research, it has been stated that the time of 1 to 2 minutes is very short, 3 to 7 minutes is adequate, 7 to 10 minutes is desirable and 10 to 30 minutes is very long..
with the increasing age the ejaculation time decreases and comes to average of 3 to 4 minutes..
so, finally the ejaculation latency time of less than a minute is very short..and if u want to increase it then u shud consult a psychiatrist..there are behavioral methods as wellas drugs which can delay the ejaculation latency time..
