Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

Seems to have developed an abrasion. Abrasion is due to shearing away of the epidermis and superficial dermis.

The epidermis normally regenerates itself in 5-7 days and the abrasion usually heals without any consequences.

Using a topical antibiotic ointment e.g 2% mupirocin twice daily would prevent it from any possible secondary infection.

regards
