How Long Must These Medications Be Continued?

dear sir my mother is given the treatment of following dosage
1 storfib
2 amtas AT
3 CLAVIX 75mg
4 NIKORAN d 5mg
5pantocid 40 mg
now i would loke to know that for how much of time we can continue this dose & is it safe to continue it for longer time without consulting the the doctor

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your clinical history and query, my opinion is as follows:
1. Storfib, Amtas AT, Clavix are all important medications for treating high cholesterol, hypertension and to reduce risk of thrombosis.
2. Nikoran is usually used during acute angina or heart problems. Not to be used for long. Do meet your doctor regarding it.
3. Pantocid is used for gastritis. If there are no abdominal pain or bloating pain, then it can be discontinued. Taking for a long time is safe, however, dosage reduction can be done, if there are no symptoms.
