How Long Should Duphaston Be Taken For Treatment Of PCOS?
Hi I m 27, obese n with PCOS.. I have been taking metfomin 2 times a day and Dhupiston 2 times a day for 6 days.. How many days should I take Dhupiston and once stopped when will I get my period.. I would also like to know when should I start my next dose and how many days should I take it.. I would really appreciate your profesional advice.. Thank a lot.. Nisha

Hi Nisha, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Duphastone is progesterone which is usually given in PCOS patient to induce the periods.
Duphastone should be taken for 5-7 days, and once stopped the periods usually occurs in 7-10 days.
You should start your next dose by day 21-23 of the periods, so that the periods come by day 28-30.
