Loose stool, presence of mucus in stool, occasional episodes of bleeding with stool suggest that you might have
Inflammatory Bowel Disease (
IBD).
2) In IBD, inner layer of large intestine become inflamed. Because of this inflammation, digestion also affects and this is the reason IBD causes loose stool with mucus.
3) Passing stool multiple times might be reason for development of
anal fissure, which is the reason of noticing blood on toilet paper in your case.
4) IBD with anal fissure require further assessment to confirm the disease and detect the extent of disease.
5) As a self-measure, you can take
probiotic supplement, avoid high fat containing food; to reduce severity of symptoms for certain extent.
