How Long To Use Levosulpiride Sustained Release For Gastric?

i am suffering with gas problem (gas coming from throat and coming from anal hole).My Dr. prescribed Levosulpiride Sustained Release 75 mg. I am using the same since 3 month daily one.my doubt is how long i have to use this. Is it safe to use long time?
