How Long Will Allergic Reaction To Dairy Last?

Hey I had an allergic reaction yesterday where my throat got irritated then swelled up a bit and I was feeling nauseous so I took an Advil that night thinking it would help but I couldn t sleep at all, I am starting to feel a little better nauseous and throat wise but I have a heart rate of around 100 and still tired but can t sleep, I think this was a result of having dairy yesterday morning but what I m wondering is how long can this reaction to dairy last?
