How Long Will Chlamydia Have To Remain Untreated To Cause Cervicitis?

I have just been told that I have chlamydia. I have also recently had cervicitis, which probably resulted from the disease. I want to know around how long have I had the disease in order to get cervicitis. I understand that it can come from chlamydia being untreated, but for how long does it have to be untreated to get cervicitis?

It causes discharge, pain or fever.
It is a sexually transmitted disease by unprotected sex with infected partner by oral, vaginal or anal sex.
It is treatable bacterial disease and treatment required for both the partner.
Use condoms for some times.
be faithful to your partner.
Consult your doctor for Azithromycine or doxycycline tablets.
