Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a blood clot in my right shoulder from my pregnancy(my son is 9 months old now), Im on coumiden still, but lately have had a burning pain in my right shoulder blade. Was wondering if it was related to my clot, and how long it will take for my clot to go away?
As shoulder blade pain cannot be related to a blood clot and will have a insertion of the Trapezius muscle inflammation leading to pain. There will be weakness of the inter-scapular muscle and also the posture will not be proper.
Correction of posture, using hot water fermentation, doing strengthening exercises for the neck muscles, inter-scapular muscles, and shoulder girdle muscles should help reduce the symptoms.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
