i took a benadry for allergy--- about 8am how long do i have t o wait to take a percocet10-325 for pain after knee

Hi Jean,

The problem in combining Benadryl with Percocet is the risk of sedation and drowsiness. After taking Benadryl, wait for at least a couple of hours and see if you are feeling sleepy or not. If not, then go ahead with the dose of Percocet. If yes, then wait till the sedation wears off. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery if you are feeling drowsy.
