Hi and welcome to HCM,

I am Dr Nilajkumar a consultant gynecologist.

The soreness should have recovered by now. However sometimes, if there are stitches inside, the tissue may react to the stitches and lead to soreness. A blood clot inside the stitches also causes pain. Another reason is nerve entrapment in stitch.

It is better to see your doctor for the cause by getting a vaginal examination and get treated as it is already 6 weeks.
Hope I was able to satisfy the question.

Have a good day and happy motherhood.
