Second hand marijuana smoke has repeatedly been shown NOT to show up on urine tests. However, chronic marijuana smokers can test positive for over 3 months after quitting BUT the positive results are highly variable ... the same person can be positive , negative, then positive as the metabolites come out of fat deposits. The study demonstrating this didn't tell the weights of those who tested positive the longest. It was less than 50% who were positive at 1 month and the results were not complete... they didn't have urines on all participants. It was a really small study. One way to predict is to test yourself before the interview. The best test is from a lab but over the counter tests can also be used.
