How Many Days Does It Take To Attain Pregnancy?
hello sir my girl friend mis her periods and i think she is pregnant we went to doctor for abortion and she did some scan to see whether she is pregnant or not, then she told us that the egg is not coming in the scan so we have to go there again after 5 day, my questions is how many days it will take to her to get pregnant and secondly in how how many days it can be treated by tablets ? thanks doc

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion the urine pregnancy test is positive a week after missed period.And the pregnancy symptoms like nausea,vomiting,increased urination and sore breast start around 2 weeks after missed period ie around 6 weeks.
The gestational sac which is the first sign of pregnancy is seen at 5 weeks in vaginal ultrasound and around 6 weeks in abdominal ultrasound.
Inspite of going directly to ultrasound first confirm by urine pregnancy test.If positive the ultrasound can be repeated.
The termination by medicines is possible upto 6-7 weeks.And always take them under doctor supervision to avoid complications like incomplete abortion,heavy bleeding etc.
So relax.
