How Many Days Should I Take Duphaston While Trying To Regulate Menstrual Bleeding Before IVF Treatment?
Hi... I diagnosed Pcos.. 9 years married... Not conceived single time....going for ivf Dr gave me progyluton.. But I started duphaston as progyluton tablet didn t work for me to stop my irregular bleeding... It s my 6th day on duphaston tab... How many days should I continue these tablets or should I take it for 21 days...
The duration for which Duphaston is given depends on the condition being treated. Check with your doctor about how long the medicine is to be taken. You should take the medicine on the same time and avoid missing the dose. Duphaston is prescribed to treat various conditions caused by progesterone deficiency like irregular menstruation, infertility, PMS, miscarriage, etc.
Since you are trying to conceive you should avoid smoking, drugs and alcohol. Duphaston helps to conceive in people who have a history of recurrent abortion. To determine the time for which the medicine has to be taken, you will have to go through few blood tests and investigations.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
