The only problem with those charts are half of them aren't based on any facts. I recall a commercial when the anti-smoking campaigns were really gearing up years ago that gave numbers for non-smokers dying due to second hand smoke. It was higher than the smokers. In which case, we should all become smokers it'd be safer.
How do you really even measure it? If a smoker dies of lung cancer, how do you know the actual cause was from tobacco and not a combination of carncenogens?
