How Much Damage Will Flying Cause For A Swollen Knee?

Hi, I went hiking a few months back and came home with swelling below my knee. Since then, I have pain in my calf and my leg is slightly swollen. The thing is, I am flying in 2 days for my father s funeral overseas.. How much more damage will flying cause me?

Hi,
Flying will not cause any damage to your knee. However, I suggest you keep well hydrated throughout the flight and wear compression stockings to reduce the chance of DVT. Move around the cabin when possible. These are routine safety measures that most airlines recommend.
