How Much Ml Of Diphenhydramine Should Be Given To Kid For Running Nose?
Hi, My 2.1 yrs girl child has running nose, i have children q-drl handy at home: diphenhydramine . unfortunately , i dont have the outer cover recommending the frequency of dosage. would you pl guide what frequency and hom much ML i need to give her.
Diphenhydramine is an anti-histamine with a side effect of drowsiness. For a runny nose not caused by allergies, and caused by an uncomplicated cold nasal saline can be used with gentle wiping. Teaching your daughter how to blow her nose after using the saline will help keep the nasal passages clean. The dose of the diphenhydramine depends on her weight and without that information, the dose can not be determined. I would advice taking the bottle to your local pharmacist or calling your pediatrician's office for that information.
