How Much Time Will It Take To Get Aborted After Taking Misoprostol?
sir i had my last menstrual cycle on 24th feb2011 and everytime it came 5 days earlier.after that i had itnercourse 4 times ie on 8,14,17n 22 march,but then only twice the liquid released inside the vagina.in the month of march my menstrual cycle didnt came .i checked home pregnancy test and it is positive.yesterday ie 26mar i hav taken mifeprostone tablet but the bleeding has not started till now.
so you plz tell me when i have to take the another misoprostol tablet and then after taking that how much time will it take to start bleeding nd to get aborted ..plz help and answer my query ?"

Understand your concern
You have to use abortion pill under the guidance and observation of gynecologist. Home use as self medication should be avoided as chance of failure is high and serious complication will occur.
Mifepristone only does not cause bleeding as it cause just detachment of conception product from uterus, Complete abortion need misoprostol as it cause uterine contraction and it expels the conception product.
It should be taken vaginally or orally after 48 hour of taking mifepristone (dose: 800 ug but if no bleeding extra dose may be given by gynecologist).
Bleeding with tissue and clots will pass 30-45 minutes after last misoprostol pill and will decrease gradually, remain up to 4-6 days as abortion process complete. But USG should be done after 14 days for better confirmation of completeness process of abortion.
