How Much Vaccine For Dog Bit Be Taken?
Hi, I am Roshan Karna from Kathmandu, Nepal. Last night our family dog bit me in my fingers. The dog is not vaccinated. Today I had visited hospital, and the doctor injected me TT and Rabipur vaccine dose. Also adviced for four more doses of Rabipur injection on 3rd, 7th, 14th and 28th day. Is it sufficient to take four more vaccines or do i need further medical attention in future.

Thanks for your query to Healthcaremagic.Gone through the history carefully.I believe,what your treating doctor had advised should be enough.Intramuscular Vaccination regimen consists of five doses(0,3,7,14,28th day,)are usually given.The 6th dose given at 90th day only for the immunodeficient people.
