How Must I Go About Treating A Nodule Found In My Lung During A CT Scan?
A 5.9 millimeter nodule was found on my lung during a CT scan. I am 34, have never smoked and have a low risk factor for cancer. I ve spoken with 2 doctors and I m getting a slight difference of opinion on when to have a follow-up CT scan. 6 months? 1 year? Somewhere in between? I want to be as cautious as possible.
The period of repeating the CT depends on several data of the nodule such as the size density. In your case, I think after 6 months, it would be better for you to do it.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
