How Risky Is A Gastric Sleeve?

I have a cascade stomach and alot of GI issues, ive had every test done to rule out pretty much everything and it all came down to a cascade stomach. I am suppose to get gastric sleeve in two months and am scared, i want to feel better but theres hardly any information on cascade stomachs. How risky is a gastric sleeve?

Dear gastric sleeve may have its own complications. Any surgery have its own befits and complications.

Here few common complications of gastric sleeve:
1.with in two weeks of surgery
a . wound site infection 10%
b.stricture 4%
c.leak 2%
d.blood clot 0.5%
2. Longterm complications: nutritional deficiencies, GERD.
3.During surgery complications:Gastric leak and gastric laceration.

enlarged liver obstruction, controlled bleeding,liver and spleen injury etc..

But nothing to worry doctor will decide the surgery depending upon your weight and benefits out weigh risks. Please consult your doctor he will explain properly.
