How Safe Are UTI Medications During 9th Week Of Pregnancy?

Hi Doctor, I am 32 years, still expecting my first baby. I was diagonised of urinary track infection at 9th week and I am in my 13th week at present. Please advise me, is it safe for me to take it at this stage or would it have any advers effect on my baby?

The UTI must be confirmed by Urine culture and appropriate antibiotic which is sensitive to the bacteria as well as safe to use in pregnancy has to be chosen.Untreated UTI can interfere with baby's growth,infection of kidneys in the mother,to mention a few.
