How Safe Is Methergine For Aborting?

sir,my wife's pregnancy aborted in 5 th week.docter prescribed tablet methergin. after she got bleeding for 5 days with pain.now no pain and bleeding stopped.she told me no need D &C
I want to know the condition of utrus how is now.its possible to get current month kindly advice me

Understand your concern
Methargin is not cause safe and effective abortion. It cause uterine contraction and closure of cervix. It generally used for arrest bleeding after child birth.
Mifepristone plus misoprostol is used for abortion under observation of gynecologist.
For safe practice , you have to consult the gynecologist and get the USG done to confirm complete process of abortion.
If retain product will found, can be treated by either misoprostol or D & C.
