Hi I am 33 years old and I was prescribed by a doctor of week eyesight in my right eye which is +0.75 SPH only farsighted with no axis etc.. It's almost 6 months gone now when I diagnose of week eye. Now my questions are as follows Q: Can I have a Lasik eye surgery in my right eye as I have a only +0.75 is there any chance of over correction during process?. Q: Is my left perfect vision eye remains the perfect for the rest of the lifetime or it might get week?. Q: After Lasik done in my is there chance that eye get week as I am a computer professional and I used to work on computers on 10 hours daily?.
Hello It seems from the history that you are having hypermetropia of .75 dioptres. You can undergo LASIK and this power can be corrected. The left eye will remain normal and the surgery for right eye will not affect left eye. The only problem you can have is dry eye following LASIK. Since you are a computer professional this problem can affect you hence do get evaluation done before undergoing LASIK.
Thank you
