Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
How Safe Is Stem Cell Injection To Treat Trigger Finger?
I also have trigger finger in middle, ring and little fingers. I have considered stem cell injections and wondering what your opinion may be. How safe is this treatment? This is my right hand and when I am grasping a knife to chop veggies, or work in the yard, or even do some quilting, my fingers will lock and it is very painful. I have to struggle to get them straight again.
As a first line management you can take analgesics like Aceclofenac or Tramadol for pain relief. If symptoms persist it is better to consult an orthopaedician and plan for surgical correction.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
