Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I have a query regarding nasal polyps .. related to ENT My mother have a problem with that I consult a ENT doctor , and he told me for a surgery.. is it safe?

Hi,

The surgical procedure is relatively safe and post-operation recovery is fairly quick with drastic improvement in symptoms. However, it's common for polyps to grow back within few years of removal. For this reasons, some specialists prescribe nasal steroid sprays after surgery to prevent regrowth of polyps.
