How Safe Is Taking Sutent Tablet For Stage IV Clear Cell Renal Carcinoma?
My husband has stage IV clear cell renal carcinoma. It has spread to lungs, 2 ribs, and the pericardium. He has been taking sutent 37.5 mg. for about a month and a half. He is having a lot of pain, swelling on left side if ribs, and under the shoulder blade. I just noticed that there is bruising under the left breast, and blood under the surface of his skin on the left lateral side of the ribs. This is the side the the ribs are with the cancer. Also he had a chest drain removed a month and a half ago. This blood under the surface has not been there. Could this be caused by the sutent.

Sutent is very safe drug
It can only cause increase in blood pressure which can be treated by medicines
