How Safe Is Taking Calcimax-500 During Pregnancy?

Hi,I am 13 weeks pregnent.I am taking calcimax-500 from last week after breakfast as suggested my doctor.But within 30 mints i was vomiting after taking the medicine.I am also taking Thyronorm 12.5 mcg in morning and softern-Z after launch.Is it safe for me and my baby.What should i do?I am very much worried about this.Please suggest something.Thank you

Hello,
There is no matter to worry for you.In pregnancy you need extra amount of nutrients like iron,calcium,vitamins etc not just for you but for your baby also.So your doctor has given you that suppliment.And yes both iron and calcium can cause nause ,vomiting and stomach upset.If your problem is severe then you can try syrup of the same medicines instead of tablets.Second thing about thyronorm is that it is very safe in pregnancy instead its harmful if you dont take this tablet in pregnancy.All the medicine you are taking are safe during pregnancy.So follow your doctors guidelines.Have nutritious diet.Stay healthy.
