How Safe Is Taking Duphaston ?

Hello! I am going Umrah an islamic pilgrimage on the 7th till the 11th. I am fear my periods to come early. My doc has adviced me duphaston from tomorrow till 11th, twice a day. Will this be ok? Hope this doesnt cause my periods to come even earlier? Pls help me. I dont want to ruin my pilgrimage.
