How Safe Is Taking Intravenous Antibiotics For UTI?
Dear Doctor My mother of 85 years of age was not cognitive when a friend was talking to her. She was diagnosed with UTI but the tests came back normal. The following day she had Left shoulder and chest pain and was quite vague and shivery. They have done cardio checks which I believe are clear. She is now in hospital and they are scratching their heads at the moment wondering what it could be. They have given her intravenous antibiotics and she is a little better, however she is still not very well at all. Any ideas?
