I am a 23 year old male. I'm 5'8" and 223 pounds. By conventional BMI standards I'm obese, but I'm built pretty well and definitely disagree. Regardless I want to maximize building muscle and burning fat when I exercise (4 or 5 days a week). I do mostly cardio, not much weight training anymore (once a week) just to try and get back into shape. I was wondering if you could recommend a workout recovery drink, or supplements that are safe to take and help prevent muscle soreness and maybe increase energy or endurance. I have never taken supplements before because I feel things like steroids are cheating, but protein or nitric oxide is ok right?
Hi dear, You can go for any whey protein which helps to build muscle mass. Protein drinks are best post work out. I can suggest you two supplements you can take any one of them in recommended amount ( 1 scoop) in one glass of milk.Either you can take bodyfuelz whey protein or optimum nutrition whey protein both have best results.
