How Safe Is Taking Thyronorm During Pregnancy?

hello Doctor,

I am 6 weeks pregnant. I have TSH Hlevel of 7.2. Starting this week, my gync prescribed to use 50mcg thyronorm. Could you please let me know how to know is there any harm already happend to fetus? How safe is to continue this pregnancy. Kindly advice me,

Hello,

I had gone through the case and found that hypothyroidism is very normally happen during pregnancy.

Taking thyronorm does not affect the foetus growth.

Sometime after delivery the range of TSH come to normal.

So take it regularly.
