How Safe Is Tuna In Diet Post Renal Cell Carcinoma?

My husband is 3 weeks from having major surgery. He had his pancreases, gall bladder, duodenum, spleen and 25% of his stomach removed due to renal cell carcinoma. He is on a soft foods diet. Can I prepare him a meal using Chunk Light Tuna in Water? I just want to be sure that the tuna is okay for his diet. My guess is yes, but I just want to be sure.Thanks.
