How Serious Is Left Atrial Enlargement In A 20-year-old?
My 20year old daughter was just told she has left atrial enlargement. She faints, has headaches and is weak at times. shes always been healthy and active. she has low blood pressure also. what could have caused her left atrial enlargement and is this serious?

We have to rule out possible causes like valvular heart disease.
If the ejection fraction is normal it won’t be a problem.
