How Serious Is The Hitting Of Back Of The Head Of A Child To The Floor After A Fall?
My Daughter 14 months fell off a chair hitting the back of her head on a tiled floor. Screamed and cried I grabbed her and put an ice pack on her head. she stopped crying. after a minute or so of cuddles she appeared pale and had a cold sweat all over. then when put in her high chair for dinner she stared for a while and seemed distant. she then ate some food. she seemed normal - I could make her laugh with tickles. had a breast feed and fell a sleep. It was her normal bed time so not sure if drowsy due to her bang on the head. Is this normal do I need to take her to a doctor? if so how urgent?
