How Should A Shin Lump With Bruising And Discoloration Be Treated?

I cracked my lower shin on the corner of a wall about 4/5 months ago and it bruised straight away. The bruise and colouring took a whole to go but I ve still got a big hard lump where the bruise used to be. It doesn t hurt but when I press it I feel uncomfortable and it s noticeably harder than the rest of my leg.

Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that you have got injury to your shin nearly 4-5 months back. Bruise healed well but there is lumb which is disturbing you. I Think you also got undisplaced fracture at shin along with bruise 4-5months back which healed by callus formation. It will resolve gradually but it may take nearly months to completely resolve. Nothing is required to be done. You can discuss your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. You can also write to me directly on below link:
