How Should Cataract With Nerve Problems Be Treated?

My father has vision problem, We consultant Local eye doctor, he told us that he has catract as well as nerve problem. Even if the catract is operated his vision will not improve, since his nerves are affected and also Dr. told that it can t be curable. Please suggest us how to proceed further.

Nerve problem is related to vision improvement after cataract surgery. So if there is nerve damage vision, wont improve after cataract extraction. But cataract may cause lens induced glaucoma so needs to be removed to avoid complications. U can go ahead with regular lens implant which wont cost you more.
