How Should Diabetes In A Child Be Treated?

Hello, one of my friends kid is 5 years old and her blood sugar level is around 400 with fasting...she has been diagonised with type1 diabetes and need some info regarding the same...need some suggestion as who would be the best doctor in town etc..would you mind to chat?

Hi,

Unlike in adults, diabetes in a child needs insulin treatment for long. Oral drugs do not have much role here. A pediatric endocrinologist is the best one to mange this.
