How Should Feet And Ankles Swelling Be Treated?

I have been traveling on vacation recently (from Atlanta to Greece) and upon return my feet and ankles were really swollen, despite wearing support socks. I raised my feet upon coming home and the swelling went down but one foot continues to swell. What should I do....this has now lasted 5 days

Hi, Thanks for your query. After going through your query I concluded that you got swelling both feet after travel. Swelling of one of foot get reduced but swelling of other foot is still there. You should keep limb elevated on pillow during night time(sleeping). You should do active mobilization exercises of both feet to reduce the swelling several times a day.You can take anti inflammatory medicines to reduce swelling. I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.Take care
