How Should Fibrolinear Density In The Left Lung While Having Intermittent Coughing Up Small Amounts Of Blood When Tired Be Treated?
Is there any way we could do to treat my Mama,,from her x-ray results we found out that she had that fibrolinear density in her left lung, I am asking what are the things need to do with her condition, sometimes when she s tired she cough and throw a little amount of blood.
Fibro linear density in the left lung may be indicative of pulmonary fibrosis. Infections like tuberculosis or pneumonia can leave scar tissue leading to fibrosis. Throwing a little amount of blood is indicative of tuberculosis. Get your mother clinically examined by a chest specialist / pulmonologist. The treating doctor will order few blood tests, sputum tests, swab tests, lung function tests, CT or MRI if needed to confirm diagnosis.
She will be accordingly treated with medications and physical therapy. She is advised to take healthy diet and go for regular monitoring and check-ups with a pulmonologist. Pulmonologist will monitor lung function and accordingly treat with medications.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
