How Should Leg Burns With Slow Healing Be Treated?

My leg has been burnt by silencer pipe of byke one month back. Initialy I have had Maxim-o tablets and using mupirocin t-bact ointment. But as it is already one month gone and the healing is very slow I have checked with another doctor and he suggested me to take novaclox capsules thrice a day and povidone-iodine ointment for oral use. Please suggest what to do? My blood sugar fasting test given result as 97 mg/dl and my age is 41.
