Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that your father have swelling , numbness and pain. I think you should get his angiography of left lower limb vessels should be done. It may be due to venous thrombosis.Till then you can keep his limb elevated on pillow. Active toe movements will be helpful in reducing swelling. Mecobalamin will be helpful in reducing numbness. Analgesic such as ibuprofen can be taken for pain relief. You can also get his MRI lumbar spine done to see if there is any nerve compression. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to help you.
Wishing you a good health. Take care.
