Hi XXXX
Thanks for your query at HCM!
I am Dr. Sheetal Verma an Infectious Disease Specialist answering to your query!
I went through your query and understand your concern.
Staphylococcus aureus, the most virulent of the many staphylococcal species, has demonstrated its versatility by remaining a major cause of morbidity and mortality despite the availability of numerous effective antistaphylococcal antibiotics.Prevention of the spread of
S. aureus infections involves hand washing and careful attention to appropriate isolation procedures. You must get tested for careful screening for MRSA
carriage . The treatment you are taking is incorrect. Take medicines like
clindamycin or ampiciilin sulbactum. You can also get bacterial culture and sensitivity test done and take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question. If you would like some more information I will be happy to provide.
Take care! Wish you best of Health.
