How Should The Pregnancy Be Treated From Now Onwards?
I am 27 weeks pregnant.at 26th week i had contractions.my doctor has prescribed duphastone 3 times a day for one month.i also took it in the first trimester and then stopped.now i have read that it is not safe for the baby after 20 weeks so i am reluctant to take it.please give me some advice.i will be grateful.i have a history of miscarriages and premature delivery with no surviving child in last four pregnancies.
Hi, thanks for writing.. Since you had contractions, history of miscarriage and premature delivery, its better to take progesterone as it maintains pregnancy.. Side effects of progesterone are there but its advantage is more than disadvantages. You can take it atleast once a day. You can stop it if there is no contractions. Hope I have answered your queries. Good day
