How To Ascertain That The Semen Is Potentially Healthy?
Semen volume 5.0 Reaction ...alkaline Colour .....grey white Liquefaction... 0 minutes Sperm count.... 30 millions Puss cells .... 8-10 Active motile 20% Sluggish positive 10% Immotile...70%.... Please tell me that these calculations are sufficient for fertility?
hello user, the report indicates that the sperm count is borderline , as some labs take normal as above 20 million and some as 40 million , the sperm motility is low (that should have been atleast 50 %), pus cells are 8-10/hpf which is suggestive of probable infection , so overall with this report one is expected to be having fertility problems ( you have not provided the morphology parameter ) but the inference can not be based on a single report , so do repeat the test after around 6 weeks , may be from a different lab ...also since possibility of a infection is there , get it treated from a physician/reproductive andrologist so the chances may improve . hope i answered your query - if satisfied please rate the answer-any followup queries are welcome
