we were given the opportunity to review the file of a child to adopt. She was abandoned when she was a few days old. She was 3 lbs when found, and is reported to be healthy now. She responds to her name, and is reported to just be behind her peers. Labwork is great. We had a dr review her file and was told that she may have some kind of syndrome that would be lifelong issue just based on her size alone. She is 9 lbs at 10 months old. Your thoughts?
