Hi

I have been on different contaceptive pills since I was 15, I am now 23.

About 4months ago i was diagnosed with hypertension which they dont believe is related to the pill, however they have advised I should no longer take the combined pill. i was on ramipril for my bp but they have now stopped this and now they want me to go for checkups every 6months/

I soon found that i began to bleed very heavily on marvalon, so they took my off of this and tried femulin, another one and then the depo jab - with ALL i was bleeding constantly.

Finally i saw a doctor who finally listened to me and said i should come off the pill completely and this should have been done previously.

I have been given norethisterone to temporarily stop the bleeding as this has been going on for nearly 5months now. The tablets are good and have stopped the bleeding, however I have still had ALOT of fluid coming out of me, i have still had to wear sanitary towels. I have been advised as soon as the tablets stop, i will bleed again. I dont want to bleed anymore. I have had to wear sanitary towels for 5months and I am fed up now.

I have been advised that my only option for contraception now is the coil too, but they feel they will have issues fitting me with this as i am petite and never had children before. Also i suffer from recurrent UTI's and have to take antibiotics everyday for this.....

What is wrong with me?! I dont want to bleed anymore. I am 23 and this is ruining my life.
