my boyfriend cook some tilapia that smelled fishy, was slimy to the touch and the edges were yellowish, or greyinsh. he washed it well, and cut the 'bad' colored parts. He cooked the 'clean' tilapia in oil and I ate it withou noticing any strange smell or taste, however after he mentioned to me, I got a bit afraid we may get sick. Please let me know what can we take to avoid or lessen the side effects of maybe food poisoning? what symptoms may I look for?
